Kaiser Chiefs Concert... Boring British Band

Went for my dose of British rock with my clients to the Kaiser Chief Concerts... Seriously I think its crap. I had totally NO IDEA of what they are singing nor why people like their crap music. Its boring, sounds abit force fed and most importantly it doesn't ryhme well. Blar Blar Blar... I'm an All American Rock Band kid since young. Guns and Roses, Staind, Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, 3 Doors Down, Creed, Green Day, Kid Rock, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam... Come On! Commercialized or not, well I like the US bands more better. More energy, More Real Heavy Rock and much more emotions with pure energy and angst!

British bands are pretty melodramatic - I like that but they lack the capability to raise your adrenaline level. Very boring guitar play and stupid electric organ backgrounds. Oasis was good but rarely one sees another as capable with less arrogance.

The crowd ar Kaiser Chiefs are interesting - mostly ang mohs and of course expats which my customers are. I'm amazed there are alot of youngsters locals who are there. What shit are kids listening to these days? Some of my customers said they have the album, I'm like WHAT??? Its not even worth to be in my i-pod for free!!! I would nvr waste a track's time playing this in my car. Anyway, I'm someone who fail to understand the goodness of british rock.

But well, in memoirs of a boring concert experience, I took some pics of the kaiser cheifs concert while there....

Next time... definitely a Linkin park concert or a Nickelback, Disturbed performance, no British band!

Your Car Says "Something" About U - New Paper SUV-vival Challenge

Interesting findings over last weeks from some friends on what misconceptions people have on each other on the road.
Nissan Saloon Drivers - One kind! Does not matter what models, really
Vios, Altis, Civics, Lancers - Hard to find your car in golden shoe carpark w/o using the alarm
KIAs, Hyundais - Budget vehicles in short term, maintenance and repairs siong. Conclusion Vios best
CRVs, Camry, Wish, Streams, Estimas, Pinics, Grandis - Fetching kids and dropping off maids at Giant
Mazda 3/6 - Not Fast, Too Furious 3/6
Tucson, Sante Fe, CheryT11 - Roadhogs that can't go off road
Pajeros, Vitaras, Foresters, Prados - Offroaders, adventure seekers or so they hope to be
Hummers, Landrovers, Land Cruisers - Offroaders.
C200s, IS250, Mark X, CX7, Murano, A4, 325, PI Accords, Passats - execs
525s, GS300s, RX300, A6 - Top execs
E class and most Mercs 4drs - towkays of all kinds
Fiat, Renault, Peugeot - What got into you?
Alfra Romeo - Expensive, looks like sports car... looks only...
Mitsuoka - Huh??? *Only 2 of all people I know heard of this brand, no comments
Saab - Ermmmm *Most people know about the brand dunno about the car except its not cheap
After my New Paper SUV-vival trip, these are some points proven on the SUVs.
Rav4s, Lexus RX300, VolvoXC90, Honda Crossroads - Come on, u guys are urban vehicles. Period ok?
Vitaras - Good for a real SUV but needs skills to handle in real challenging terrains.
Took part in the New Paper SUV-vial challenge to Kuantan, 2 days 1 night trip and spent some nice time on the Pahang beaches and admiring the beautiful nature.... thanks to Suzuki sponsoring the publicity of their new GV - Grand Vitara 2.4L 4WD machines.
Toyota Land Cruiser, Land Rovers, Range Rovers - Great and very powerful offroaders, expensive though. Here one pic from the New Paper SUV-vival challenge I took

Fortuner, Prado, Musso - So Big and Tall that they travel as easy off road and on the highway. Thumbs Up! And best performing range in the SUV Kuantan challenge
*Hummer H3 - No. 1 performing in the Kuantan Challenge... Fast and Nimble, Big and Powerful in the sand dune!

Summary of the Kuantan challenge - Toyota Fortuners, Prado are the sweet spots. Practically bouncing off the terrain with ease and no sweat at very affordable prices.
Here are some pics taken in the Kuantan trip. Unfortunately those that have me inside are still with friends. Nevertheless, here are the ones I have taken on the trip. Its defintely a pure display of why people pay top dollars to get a real SUV than those that looked like one. Its the engine and gearshift that comes to the crunch when ur in the real offroad!

And of course, not to forget the biggest LOSERS - CRVs from CRaVers Club. Made the most noise, but nvr go offroad
